CIRCULAR WORK
The task of the recycler is to sort recyclable waste and separate materials for recovery. This sorting and separation is an essential element in the recycling process, which involves the "use waste as a resource" strategy, and is therefore presented as circular work. The daily activities of the recycling operator include physical labor and the handling of machinery such as driving forklift trucks.
THE USE OF WASTE AS A RESOURCE IN POWERGRASS™
The cork used as a resilient element is a cork production waste that is mainly used for the production of corks, which becomes an excellent resource to make the growing medium softer. In the hybrid system, the cork is aggregated with the roots in the growth medium and is not dispersed into the environment.
Another key element in the installation phase is the so-called VermiCompost, which is produced from matured cow manure and stabilized in an earthworm composter. Vermi Compost is the prince par excellence of organic soil improvers and has proven to be highly effective in activating biological activity in the latest installation in San Benedetto del Tronto.
In its nutrition plans, POWERgrass TM favors products of organic origin that use recyclable matrices such as hydrolyzed leather, compost heap leachate, etc. to promote bacterial flora in the soil.
