An Innovative Company and an Experienced Enterprise
POWERgrass was founded in 2015 to promote the innovative hybrid grass system for creating highly usable and safe sports fields for players. The system is sustainable, designed for the circular economy for the green management of sports centers. POWERgrass applies the principles of regenerative agriculture in turfgrass maintenance through technological systems that capture up to 8 times more CO2, offering a positive environmental impact. Monitoring the "use and maintenance" phase is effective through the digitalized reporting of processes, developed internally by the company.
In 2021, the company became a Benefit corporation that, in conducting business activities, operates responsibly and transparently towards people, communities, and the environment, offering its rich knowledge to develop projects contextualized in the territory with a holistic and forward-looking vision that also considers climate change scenarios over 30 years.
The partner company Gli Specialisti del Verde has 20 years of experience in the construction of natural, synthetic, and hybrid sports surfaces. The company has offered its know-how for the design of over 1000 sports fields, providing tailored solutions that are then contracted by various public bodies and has participated with its personnel and equipment in the construction of 200 fields for soccer, rugby, and athletics tracks built and approved according to USGA, LND, FIFA, and IAAF standards.
The company POWERgrass has always relied on the experience of Gli Specialisti del Verde and together they have promoted and built 30 hybrid fields in Italy and abroad. Thanks to the collaboration also of Daniele Nasini, an expert in the maintenance of high-profile sports fields, the company today is able to offer support to the professional maintenance service that fits any budget because in the near future, environmental certifications in the "use and maintenance" phase require a professional management.
Innovative Hybrid Grass System
A long experience and rich know-how have allowed us to qualify as experts in the construction and maintenance of natural or synthetic hybrid grass sports fields. POWERgrass has developed innovative projects, sometimes patented, that few are even able to understand.
For this reason, the design assistance service is free and takes into account all construction, maintenance, and end-of-life disposal costs, as well as external costs for resource containment, consumption, climate change resilience, and environmental impact with a holistic vision.

POWERgrass is ready to engage in business with established and qualified partners to assist groundsmen in understanding how best to perform maintenance so that it becomes easy, economical, and ecological. POWERgrass partners are selected among those specialized in the maintenance of natural grass fields and, in their staff, they have personnel experienced in turfgrass topics.
Each new client follows a training path assisted by experienced personnel until they acquire the knowledge for turfgrass care and conservation. The green maintenance is simple and is assisted for free for a whole year through our "follow up" service.
An investor entering the sports world often does not know the financing opportunities because he deals with other aspects in his professional life. We know how difficult it is to find funds to invest in sports facilities because often the return is uncertain, so we are always attentive to our clients' financing opportunities so that they can realize their dreams.
Sometimes, local or national governments offer non-repayable contributions, recurring for example through the "Sport and Suburbs" call. In other cases, they offer a very long payment deferment up to 20 years at zero interest up to a certain amount, as in the case of the Sports Credit "Mission Comuni."
